Manuscript, in two hands, of a sermon on the coming of Christ, followed by several devotional reflections in both prose and verse. The manuscript contains a collection of religious poems titled "The Protestant Faith," which meditate upon religious events from the creation of the world to its end. This collection is followed followed by a religious meditation on "the lamentable errors of the Methodists," and the manuscript concludes with "Mr. Whitefield's recantation or an extract from his remarks--on a late pamphlet entitled The Enthusiasm of the Methodists and Papists Compar'd."
